When syncing the Canvas gradebook with Skyward.


Canvas Error Message

Assignment "########" (11267.198073) in section "########" (27123.0.06) is marked as deleted. The teacher may restore this assignment in his or her Skyward gradebook, provided that it is not in a locked grading period.


  1. Go to the Skyward Gradebook
  2. Click Display Options => Restore Deleted Assignments
  3. Click the assignment you want to restore and click the View Details button
  4. Click the Restore Assignment button
  5. Go to Canvas and sync the gradebook again
