After updating to Mojave, the SMART Display mouse will not work. The pens still work but users cannot control their laptop from the display.
- When the Accessibility Access (Events) messages appear, click Open System Preferences.
- Select the Privacy tab, and then select Accessibility in the panel on the left.
- Click the lock icon and enter the administrator account user name and password if prompted. Click OK.
- If Notebook or SMARTBoardService don't appear in the panel on the left, go to step 5.
If Notebook and SMARTBoardService appear in the panel on the left, select the checkboxes next to both items, close System Preferences, and restart the computer. You should now be able to use your SMART Board normally.
- Go to Finder > Applications > SMART Technologies.
- Drag the Notebook application from the Finder window t the panel on the right of the Security & Privacy window.
- Select the checkbox next to the Notebook application.
- In the Finder window, right-click SMART Settings, and then click Show Package Contents.
- Open Contents > Bin to display a list of SMART applications.
- Drag SMARTBoardService application from the Finder window into the panel on the right of the Security & Privacy window.
- Select the checkbox next to SMARTBoardService.
- Restart the computer.
